A Suspect in Fullerton is shot by Placentia police
On
Tuesday, at a Fullerton shopping center, a man who was believed to be a
stalking suspect was shot by an officer from the Placentia Police Department,
according to Sgt. Joe Connell of the Placentia Police Department, officers
received a call at around 5:52 p.m. about a stalking suspect. They located him
at the 3300 block of Yorba Linda Boulevard, west of Bradford Avenue in Fullerton.
When the officers attempted to detain him, they opened fire and shot him, as
stated by the police department. The suspect is expected to survive as he was
taken to a trauma center. Fortunately, no officers were injured during the
shooting. Anyone with any information about the shooting is asked to contact
